The Bethany endowment fund is a collection of monetary gifts from members and/or friends of Bethany Lutheran Church. The purpose of the fund is to aid in the funding of various ministries of Bethany Lutheran Church through the encouragement and management of bequests, donations, and other gifts.
Our endowment fund focuses on the long-term financial future of our congregation. Because only a portion of the annual earnings of the fund is used each year, the Fund continues to grow and provide a permanent source of support to Bethany Lutheran Church
These gifts are invested for long-term growth and a portion of the income is distributed to the congregation for current and/or specific projects in support of Bethany’s mission.
Gifts to the Endowment Fund are gifts from the heart that further Bethany’s work and mission of spreading God’s Word. Gifts can remain anonymous if requested.
National research suggests only 6-10% of people have included a church or charity in their will or estate plan. That’s shocking because a far greater percentage of people contribute with time, talents and treasures during their lifetimes. A gift to Bethany’s Endowment fund will allow for the provision of resources to accomplish the Lord’s work at Bethany even after the benefactor has left this life on earth.
