Bethany is part of a national church, the Wisconsin Evangelical Lutheran Synod (WELS). The WELS is a church organization that in the spirit of the sixteenth century reformer, Martin Luther, holds to the authority and truth of God's Word. The WELS partners with several other international church bodies to form a global ministry partnership.
