Spring Work Day

This year's Spring work day will be held on Saturday, May 8th starting at 8:00am.  Please volunteer to help keep our campuses looking neat and presentable.  Bring your rakes, shovels, and any other yard tools that may come in handy.  We may also need a trailer or two to haul away any brush and garbage. A pizza lunch will be served following the morning work.

We are also looking for a few volunteers to help with the lawn mowing at the Parkway Campus this Summer. We have a riding mower and weed-whacker in the church garage that can be used.

Contact aricgwilson@gmail.com  or (920)878-1641 with any questions.

Please follow the link below to let us know if you're able to attend our Spring Clean Up Day on Saturday, May 8!

Call Extended to Pastor Matthew Scharf

On Thursday, April 8 the voters of Bethany issued a divine call to Pastor Matthew Scharf to serve as our second pastor. Pastor Scharf is currently serving at Hope Lutheran Church in Manhattan, Kansas. He is 34 years old and married to Rachel. They have three daughters.

Please pray for Pastor Scharf and his family that they have guidance and clarity to make a decision that is best for the kingdom at large.

One By One Bible Study

Our new Bible study will begin next week!

Personal contact is one of the many casualties of COVID-19. Many of you have been separated from family and friends, and are only beginning to reconnect. As a congregation, we have been separated from one another and not able to enjoy many of the fellowship opportunities that we used to take for granted. Worship, Bible study, and meetings have all been carried out through online tools such as a Facebook and Zoom. And even now, as we are beginning to gather more and more, these online options are still in place and in use by many, and may be for some time. But let’s not forget the importance of personal contact, not only in our relationships with family members, friends, and church members, but also in the relationships we hope to build with those who need to hear the good news of Jesus. This study is based on Pastor David Rosenau’s keynote presentation at the WELS National Conference on Lutheran Leadership in January of 2020. Using powerful personal stories and drawing from his wealth of experience both as a detective and a parish pastor, Pastor Rosenau helps Christians understand why it is so important to see every soul as a treasure and why we want to be willing to spend the time and effort necessary to share the gospel with each one. Looking ahead to Holy Week

Our service schedule is posted on our website. We will continue to provide a link to sign-up for these services in the emails we send out between now and Easter. Please take a look and sign-up for the various services as soon as you can, so that we can do our best with the limited capacity to welcome as many worshippers as possible. If you know that you will have additional family members worshipping with you for any of those services, please include them on the sign-up as well. Also, please consider who you might invite for these special services where the good news of all that Jesus did to redeem us in his death and resurrection will be proclaimed!

Holy Week Worship Sign-Ups

Our Holy Week service schedule is posted on our website. An email with a link to sign up for these services will go out to the congregation today. Please take a look and sign up for the various services as soon as you can, or as soon as you know what your plans are, so that we can do our best with the limited capacity to welcome as may worshippers as possible. If you know that you will have additional family members worshipping with you for any of these services, please include them on the sign-up as well. Also, please consider who you might invite for these special services where the good news of all that Jesus did to redeem us in his death and resurrection will be proclaimed.

Looking Ahead: Holy Week

Our service schedule is posted on our Website. Sign-ups will begin next week to make sure that we can accommodate all who wish to join us for worship at these special services.
