The April collection will be held on Saturday, April 15, 2023, which is a week later than normal due to the Easter holiday on our normal weekend. Items needed at the pantry are: Cereal (healthier oat, rice, etc.), pork 'n beans/baked beans, misc. pasta noodles, spaghetti noodles, pasta sauce (canned or plastic jars preferred), canned pears and fruit cocktail, canned beef/chicken stews, jam (18 oz. jars), peanut butter (16 oz. jars), hand soaps, dish soaps (20 oz. or less) and laundry soaps (60 loads or less). Thank you all for your continued support of the pantry. Happy Easter!

February 2023 Teen Group

The Bethany Teen Group (Grades 8-12) will meet on Sunday, February 26 @ 10:15am. This will take place at the Parkway Annex in Pastor Johnston's office on the lower level. Refreshments will be provided. (Please note: This new meeting time takes place during the regular Sunday Studies hour. As of this time, it will not be a weekly gathering but will still take place on a monthly basis.)

Midweek Lenten Worship

Our final Midweek Lenten services are Wednesday, March 29 at 4:30pm and 6:00pm on our Parkway Campus. The theme for these midweek services is “His Final Steps” where we ponder the significance of the people and places on Jesus’ resolute final steps to the cross. There will be a dinner between these services in our lower level fellowship hall. The proceeds from the Lenten meals will help support the cost of food, beverages and snacks for the two-day training course from MLC held at Our Shepherd this summer.

Our Shepherd Childcare Collecting Hygiene Items

Our Shepherd Childcare and its families will be collecting donations of hygiene products in conjunction with the Appleton Area School District, (toothbrushes/paste, shampoo, conditioner, soap, diapers, wipes, lotion, cleaning supplies, etc.) for area children & families who are in need. They will be accepting donations from February 13-March 3. If you’d like to help, you are welcome to drop off donations at the Our Shepherd in the tall box near the Praise Center – either during childcare hours (7AM-5PM) or before Saturday church.

Friendship Weekend at Bethany

All Bethany members are encouraged to invite a friend to one of our worship services during the weekend of February 11-13, as we observe “Friendship Weekend.” Our message that weekend will tell of the Living Water that our thirsty souls need - Jesus! Services will have a special focus for friends or family who may be unchurched. The Our Shepherd children from rooms 7, 8, 9, 10, and Praise and Graze will be singing during the Saturday worship service at the Lynndale Campus. as well.

Loss of A Spouse Seminar

The death of a spouse brings a unique kind of pain. People who are widowed haven’t just lost a loved one—they’ve lost an entire lifestyle.
