St. Paul Lutheran in Appleton is hosting Pastor Philip Birner and his wife, Susan, who will give a presentation about their missionary work. They were WELS missionaries in Zambia, Africa, for over 30 years and retired from service about two years ago. Pastor Birner currently serves as the part-time visitation pastor for St. Paul. The presentation will be on September 17, 2026, from 6:30 PM - 7:30 PM. St. Paul will provide snacks and drinks at the presentation.
